План-конспект урока: “Being happy in the city and in the country”

Класс: шестой

Цель урока: формирование коммуникативной компетенции.

 Задачи урока:

Обучающие:

1.Развивать умения и навыки устной речи: учить рассказывать о городе, селе.

2. Развивать умения и навыки чтения:

-  работать над техникой чтения вслух;

- учить читать и полностью понимать текст, построенный на знакомом языковом материале.

3. Уметь выразительно рассказывать произведение детского фольклора (стихотворением на английском языке).

4. Познакомить учащихся с правилом образования степеней сравнения односложных прилагательных.

Развивающие: развивать речевые способности учащихся, внимания,            мышления, памяти и воображения.

Воспитательные: воспитывать личность, которая может представить свою культуру и познать иноязычную.

Оборудование: компьютер, проектор, мультимедийная презентация, электронный материал к учебнику, карточки, доска.

Ход урока:

1.Организационный момент:

- Good morning, children.

- Good morning, teacher.

- How are you?

- Fine, thank you. And you?

- I am all right, thank you. Sit down, please. Let’s start our lesson.

-What season is it now?

- Is it November now?

- Is it cold today?

- Is it rainy?

- Do you like rainy weather?

- What is your favorite season?

2. Введение в тему урока.

Some people live in the city some live in the country. Where do you live?

Do you like you city?

All of us love our native place. The theme of our lesson is “Being happy in the country and in the city”

Let’s meet our guests. Here is Sveta and Alex. They will help us to review our vocabulary and learn the new grammar rule.

Sveta lives in Moscow and Alex lives in Oxford. They like the places they live and they like the well-known English proverbs. Read and translate them: “East or West – home is best” “There is no place like home”.

4. Развитие лексических навыков.

Look at this word. (country) Какие значения имеет это слово?

Read and translate the sentences.

Look at these words. (city  town) Что означают эти слова? В чем различие?

What do you see in the pictures? – It is ……(Учащиеся называют слова по теме)

5.Закрепление лексических навыков.

 Read the story. Use words instead the pictures.

These sentences are about the city. Read and say: true or false.

•         The city is big.

•         In the city you can see green fields and nice green gardens.

•         The streets are wide and long.

•         There are a lot of cows and sheep in the city.

•         There are a lot of people in the city.

•         The houses in the city are nice and small.

•         In the streets you can see a lot of cars and tall houses.

6. Выразительное чтение стихотворения.

Do you know the poem about the city and the country? Who would like to recite the poem?

Учащиеся рассказывают стихотворение упр.6 стр.35.

7.Развитие навыков аудирования.

Now let’s listen. Sveta and Alex are at the International Musical Festival in Moscow. They meet a lot of new friends there. Listen to one of the girls. I will give you cards. Look through the task for a minute. Listen and tick the correct option.

8. Введение грамматического материала по теме «Степени сравнения прилагательных»

А теперь мы снова встречаемся с Алексом. Он поможет нам познакомиться с новым грамматическим правилом. Алекс живет в Оксфорде.

На доске: Oxford is a big town.

На каникулах Алекс поехал в Лондон. Он удивился, какой Лондон большой город:

На доске: London is bigger than Oxford.

Экскурсия была интересной. Но все равно не хватило времени посмотреть весь город.

На доске: I think London is the biggest city in Great Britain.

мотрите на эту цепочку слов. Какой частью речи являются эти слова? Чем они отличаются? Детям предлагается попытаться объяснить, как образуются степени сравнения прилагательных.

9. Первичная отработка нового материала
Учащиеся повторяют прилагательные за учителем:
tall – taller – the tallest
dirty – dirtier – the dirtiest
big – bigger – the biggest
small – smaller – the smallest
large – larger – the largest
wide – wider – the widest
clean – cleaner – the cleanest
long – longer – the longest

•         In the country gardens are (big) than in the city.

11. Чтение.

Alex sent us a letter. Let’s read it.

Учащиеся читают упр.9 стр.36

12. Вопросно-ответная работа по тексту.

•         What is the capital of Great Britain?

•         What is there in London?

•         What cities and towns can you see in Great Britain?

•         Where does Alex’s granny live?

•         What is there in the country?

•         Do you like Great Britain?

•         Do you want to visit Great Britain?

А теперь давайте найдем в письме Алекса односложные прилагательные. Образуйте степени сравнения.

13. Подведение итогов урока:

We’ve learnt a lot of information about the city and the country. Where would you like to live?
